Keith is a lovely lop-eared rabbit who was recently adopted by his new family. Keith settled in well in his new home. He was loving the attention of his new owners and their three girls but unfortunately had started to show some aggressive tendencies. Keith had not been desexed so he visited us to have this procedure performed.
Keith coped well during his surgery and had an intravenous line placed to support him through the anaesthetic. He went home on some pain relief and had a little collar to prevent him from chewing on his sutures.
We recommend castrating male rabbits as this does reduce their aggression and also stops any unwanted male associated behaviours. We also recommend speying your female rabbits as mature females often get uterine tumours.
