Floyd's private problem

Floyd is a 3 year old Heeler cross, who was presented to us with a nasty lump in a very private area - his scrotum! Floyd was initially treated with antibiotics but the lump started to grow. It was elected that the best treatment would be to desex Floyd.

Floyd was admitted to the hospital in preparation for his surgery. Prior to his surgery, Floyd was given an anaesthetic. Our veterinary team performed the desexing procedure and the removal of the lump on his scrotum.

Floyd is now doing well and is recovering nicely from his surgery. Desexing at an early age (around 6 months) is always a good idea as it saves problems arising later in life.
