Flash's new job

Flash is a lovely young Labradoodle, with some big new responsibilities. He was recently accepted into the Delta Therapy Dogs Program which means he can now visit both adults and children in supported care.

To become a Delta accredited dog, Flash had to pass a number of health tests as well as a temperament test to ensure that he was suitable for the role. Flash performed very well and gained his accreditation with flying colours. He is now able to voluntarily visit hospitals and share bliss.

We look forward to seeing Flash sporting his new Delta dog jacket on his next visit to the clinic, and hearing how he has made people smile. It is a wonderful role and we are sure he, along with the help of his owner Roz, will be fantastic at it.

Delta Society Australia is always looking for new Therapy Dog volunteers. For more information, contact Delta on (02) 9797 7922 or visit their website www.deltasociety.com.au
